Topic: question on DNS client/updates
while I do use dynu for maintaining my DNS services, I noticed that my domain, grandrache.com points to my home server. I know that this is the A record setting. I tried setting the A record to a different IP address but it keeps reverting back to my current home IP address. I believe that my IPFirewall is the only device that is providing the Dynu update as this feature is built into IPFire. I do not have the client locally installed on any of my computers or servers. Why does the IP address keep reverting back to my home server IP address no matter what I change it to.
