Topic: Service Record not working
Hello all together,I am struggling with adding a Service Record for my server.* Lets say I know the domain example.com.* Want I want to achieve is that subdomain.example domain goes to example.com:12345* I am adding a service record like this. * Node Name: _service1._udp.subdomain * Type: SRV * TTL: 120 * Port: 12345 * Target: example.com* The DNS record looks like this: * Hostname: _service1._udp.subdomain.example.com * Type: SRV * Target: example.comNo matter how long I wait. This record is not working at all. Going directly to example.com:12345 is working fine. Adding an alias subdomain.example.com and going to subdomain.example.com:12345 is also working, so it is not a firewall issue.Any advice? I tried this tutorial but obviously I am not getting what I am doing wrong:https://www.dynu.com/Resources/Tutorials/DynamicDNS/CreateSRVRecordRegards,Mox
