With multiple dynamic DNS clients each updating their own IP, if one is compromised then the password for the entire account is as well, and can be used to update the IP for *any* host on the account. Setting a separate password for IP update helps a tiny bit, but if it is compromised, the attacker can still use it to update any host's IP within the account.

It looks like there should be a way to set a different IP Update password for each group, but this button doesn't seem to work. Is it supposed to?

Thanks!

Clicking on the lock button should prompt you to sign up for account membership. The group password feature is available to member accounts at this time. You can sign up for $9.99/year.
