To report a violation of our acceptable user's policy or any other abuses of our services, please send an email to abuse [at] dynu.com. You can also use this Contact Us page to report the abuse if you are worried that your email may be flagged as SPAM for any reason.

What to include

To facilitate the review of the report by our abuse team, please include in the email or the ticket the following information. Abuse reports that contain each of these elements will be given priority.

  • Email subject: Abuse report: service name or domain name
  • Abuse type (spam, phishing, privacy violation etc.)
  • Proof of abuse (activity log, emails, screenshots etc.)
  • Proof of copyright or domain ownership (if applicable)
  • Your name, organization name and contact information, including your email address and a telephone number at which you can be reached
  • Any additional information in relation to the abuse

  • Abuse handling procedure

    All abuse reports are ticketed and sent to our abuse and compliance team for investigation and handling. You will receive an automatic reply via email with the ticket number. Please refrain from submitting duplicate reports and include the ticket number in the subject if you need to contact us about an existing report. In some instances, we may need to contact our customer for a response or additional information.

    We take care of abuse issues as soon as we are notified and you should receive a reply within 24 hours informing you of the actions taken against the abuse or requesting more information to understand or evaluate your report. If you do not hear back from us within 48 hours, please feel free to use the Contact Us page to contact us again. We appreciate your support in identifying any individual or organization that violates our acceptable user's policy or any other abuse of our services.

    Law enforcement

    Reports from law enforcement, consumer protection agencies, or quasi-governmental or other similar authorities should identify the name of the relevant agency and the jurisdiction in which it operates. Please refer here for a dedicated abuse report contact.

    Note: We are not a web hosting company and we have no way to remove content from a site, but we do comply with valid copyright complaints if we receive specific proof of the complaint from the copyright holder and/or authorized agent for the copyright holder. When presented with a valid complaint we can null route the related domain name so that the web content won't be available at the domain name.
