I have a Netgear Nighthawk R700 which, of course, does not support your DDNS service. Of course, I found this out only after I paid for it - LOL!!

I would prefer to not sacrifice workstation or device resources by runnig an auto updater.

Is there any work-around you can think of that will make my R7000 update itself on my awesome Dynu services?

The R7000 is compatible with ddwrt which fully supports custom ddns settings so if you flash the router with ddwrt you should be able to accomplish this
