Argomento: Linux based ddns client setup
Dear, I have been using windows 10 based ddclient and it was working well. Now I moved to Raspberry Pi based linux and installed ddclient. Config file seems correct. But the IP is not changing. It shows old IP which was part of windows based internet connection. Any help is appreciated.Thanks in advance

Could you please make sure that the Windows IP update client is not running? Please make sure that it is not running as Windows Service either.You can use ddclient -daemon=0 -debug -verbose -noquiet to enable debug and verbose messages.

Dear, I removed the client in win10 systems and rebooted . Also did your steps on RPi and got the same ip as if win10 based client update. Response follows."WARNING: file /var/cache/ddclient/ddclient.cache, line 3: Invalid Value for keyword 'ip' = ''RECEIVE: <html><head><title>Current IP Check</title></head><body>Current IP Address: 157.51.99.144</body></html>DEBUG: get_ip: using web, checkip.dyndns.com reports 157.51.99.144WARNING: skipping update of chennai.dynu.net from <nothing> to 157.51.99.144.WARNING: last updated <never> but last attempt on Sat May 6 02:34:22 2017 failed.WARNING: Wait at least 5 minutes between update attempts.pi@raspberrypi ~ $
